It's been a while!

WOW

WOW this was a great week. Two good Bent Creek rides and one awesome ride somewhere in Pisgah. Five started the Pisgah ride and three finished, but no one got their heartbroke that bad. Ran into a super nice group of riders near the top that we kinda joined in with for the ride down. Also to top the week off the Hub bikeshop hooked me up with free beer and t-shirt for delivering a couple kegs of Pisgah brew. Can"t say anything but "Man what a great week!". By the way I've found the ultimate riding snack dried bananas and walnuts.

My name is Isaiah. Mountain biking is one my favorite things to do. I've been back riding for a little over a year now after taking a five or six year break from riding. Now I ride with some of my old buddies and have made some new ones also.

About two years ago I lost my favorite riding patner/brother Cody in a car crash. The day my mom gave me his old mtn bike it set off that idea in my head to get off my butt, get back out there, and ride agian. I still imagine he's riding with me sometimes ecspecally when I'm blazing down a trail way faster than I should or finding myself doing crazy sections of trail thats way over my head.

But, now I have a new favorite riding patner it's my 9 year old son Bryson. I love the look on his face when he makes it to the top of that big climb or clears a technical section of trail.
